From a Small Idea to a Global Mission
It started with a pair of socks. Our founder, Maya Chen, was frustrated by the lack of high-quality, sustainably made everyday essentials. She believed that the items we use every single day โ socks, towels, blankets โ should be crafted with the same care and intention as any premium product.
In 2019, working from a small apartment in Portland, Maya launched Planet Living Ventures with a modest collection of bamboo-fiber socks. The response was overwhelming. Customers loved the quality, and they loved the story behind it.
Today, we're a team of 45 people passionate about creating products that stand the test of time, look beautiful, and leave the lightest possible footprint on our planet.
